I adore the Santoro Gorjuss stamp collection. They are charming. However, I thought this stamp entitled, Let Down, was ironic since I am using it for a thank you card. Trust me, I was anything but let down then it came to the Christmas gift my daughter gave me this year, which was a collection of new Copic markers!
Since I wanted the main focus to be on the Santoro stamp, I kept it very basic.
To make the polka dot background, I used Concord & 9th's Scattered Dots Turnabout stamp with Stampin' Up's Sahara Sand and Soft Suede.
To color in my image, I used the following Copic color combination:
Hair: E51, E53
Face: E000, E00
Dress: RV63, RV66, RV69
Socks: RV63, RV69
The sentiment was created using an Avery Elle stamp set and Hero Arts Unicorn pigment ink.
The card's interior was left blank, so I could write a personal message for my daughter.
I hope you enjoyed this simple design. Sometimes, it is fun to be a kid again and pull out your markers and color. Plus, the Copics are such a joy to work with compared to my old alcohol markers. I can't wait to build on my collection.
Thanks for joining me today. I look forward to seeing you next week.
