We are getting back to basics this week. Today's card does not feature any interactive dies. Instead, I focused on a simple gumball die-cut I found on Cricut Design Studio.
My young nephew is fascinated by gumball machines. He doesn't care what comes out of it, as long as it works. Although, his favorite is Jelly Belly jelly beans!
This card was not difficult at all, just a bit tedious and time-consuming. Each gumball takes three pieces, and they have to be glued together one-by-one. If you have a little patience, this is definitely a cute card for youngsters.
The patterned papers are from CaperuzaSketch and are part of the Christmas collection.
I kept the sentiments simple. Since the outside states, Have a Ball, the inside says, ...on your birthday!
The only other addition to the card is this gift card pocket. While they are easy enough to make on your own, I use it so often, I purchased the inexpensive die. Plus, it gives me the added benefit of the stitched design.
Thanks for joining me this week for this birthday card project. I hope you enjoyed it. If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to leave me a note below.
Happy crafting, everyone!
